THE PROCESS

In regards to whatever issues “we may be being defeated by” usually it’s because of a lack of Real Faith and Real Determination. Some of us deal with the “Real Realities of our lives while some of us continue to live in FEAR, DOUBT, DENIAL, and DEFEAT.

Until you want it beyond “I KNOW ITS WHAT’S RIGHT” you have not even started. The place we need to be is in THE PLACE OF AUTHORITY, which is “A MADE UP MIND.” Let’s go there. When you have a made up mind in the natural to do your own thing, nothing nor anything that people may say can turn you around. We also need to come to the “Place of a Made Up Mind In The Things of God.” (Stay tuned cause that’s a blog all in itself coming soon.) The place of authority is that we be over the devil and not under his constant control. I always say he may win a round or 2 in a day but at the end of each day I win the fight of each day. Luke 10:19 / Genesis 4:6,7/Acts 1:8. Jesus promised us power over all the power of the enemy. The power is meant for the “Saved” Mark 16:16-18 .

I’ve lived through a few different addictions yet today I’m free not because I’m a Survivor but because I’m a recipient of “God’s Grace and Mercy.” Yet in order to get here I had to realize I had resisted God far to long Romans 12:1,2 and then I had to GO AFTER GOD Isaiah 55:6-7 Proverbs 3:5-7. A part of my personal process was to fall in love with Jesus, yep for the first time. I had always only claimed God and that was only because I was afraid of going to Hell. In retrospect I wanted the things of God but I didn’t want God. When we’re really in love with our mate in a real and faithful relationship we desire to please them. We don’t just do what pleases them to keep them, but we do it because we’re driven by love, wanting to see them happy in every aspect of their life. When we know what they want we strive to give it to them. If our mate says they like to go out to diner on Fridays and watch a movie together on Saturday, and we take them to a basketball game on Friday and to A banquet Saturday you may be showing them your version of love but not the love they asked for. John 14:21/Matthew 7:21.

Once I read Psalms 42:1,2 I knew I had to back all the way up to John 3:3-5/John 3:16. That was the spiritual aspect of my “PROCESS” but the natural PROCESS went like this. Well first and foremost let’s call the lie of the devil a lie. One of his lies says that you have to get clean for yourself and nobody else. I got clean for my children …. to be continued ….
